Re: Choose Your 2014 Redskins Head Coach (Volume 2)
Winston Moss was a really hot HC name two years ago. Haven't heard even a whisper on him this year. Don't think the Redskins are going for a defensive guy, but would like to see them bring him in for an interview, at least.

He did at Baltimore. And he has been relatively quiet in his two years at New York. In his first two years, yea he let success get to his head. I think he has been humbled. If he is just responsible for defense, he would be a top 5 coordinator in the NFL.

If we weren't coming off of such a PR mess, football/scheme wise, I like a lot of what Ryan does defensively. I think the world may explode with a trio of Snyder/Rex/RG3 though. It would be insufferable media saturation of any and everything done or said but ultimately I think he will find success as a head coach somewhere.

I wouldn't be mad if it we hired Wade Phillips; he's running a good defense in Houston even though they have a bad offense. He would certainly be an upgrade over Haslett.

Here are some "Pro's" and "Con's" regarding some of the coaches that are available. Atleast one persons opinion.

Re: Choose Your 2014 Redskins Head Coach (Volume 2)
I would love it if Cowher came back to coach the Redskins. Love it. Hiring him would be about the only thing that would make me look back on this season with anything other than nausea ("Hell, that was awful, but it led us to kick the Shannacan and hire Cowher.")

Re: Choose Your 2014 Redskins Head Coach (Volume 2)
I heard two different analysts today say they think that Shanny could be back next year. I am probably reading too much into that as "could" is a great cya word for anybody in the public eye.

There's been more talk lately that people believe he is doing this to set up cousins to be the guy next yr and yes that he will be here . Adam S. Says no and I believe he would know

There are too many reason for this to be his final year now. As far as III goes, I have no doubt barring offseason injury that he is the starter week 1. He is too good to let this do anything more than motivate him and I don't believe Kirk cousins would have a chance in hell to beat him out in a real position battle after a full nfl offseason.

Mike has 7 million reasons to stay.
I wonder what his contract says what we can do to fire Kyle, is it even permissible? |

I dig that idea. But Snyder is being totally professional through this IMO and letting Shanahan make his own exit.
