Re: All things Redskins training camp
I agree...especially since Cooley says he's the best TE in the league....oh...I mean in his "mind"

Re: All things Redskins training camp
Cooley and RGIII should both shut up. Cooley can't play anymore and RGIII can't keep from making comments that cause him to receive bad press.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
Did Jordan Reed get hurt in practice? Damn he might be the most injured player we've had in a while around here. It's constantly something with him.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
Are people still talking about Cooley? Really? Dude wasn't even noticeable back on the squad in 2012, and now you want him to return 3 years removed from playing with shitty knees? Not only that, he doesn't play special teams.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
We do not need Cooley..end of story..what we need is young healthy fast guys who know how to block at tight end..that is what kills me about the draft..there were really good tight ends we could have taken in the late rounds..insurance so to speak..news flash to redskins ..you can't have too many tight ends and DB's.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
I love Cooley. He loves this team, does insightful analysis and was great / good for us at TE. But he's past his prime, and although he actually probably could contribute this year for us (come on, we're down to our 5th TE, and comparing him to rookies / converted OTs / TE who haven't played last year) --> I think it's a waste given the opportunity to develop a young TE for depth in the future. As stated, Cooley needs to cool it, and keep quiet. Why make an a$$ of himself now with the team -- he has a promising commentator spot for years.
Griffin - also needs to learn better phrasing so media doesn't go crazy each time. J.Reed - is not MKelly, because he was actually great when healthy. MKelly was only average when healthy. |

Re: All things Redskins training camp
I think they are handling the TE problem, the smart way. Just waiting to see who pops up, and not panicking, or making a stupid trade. Maybe Reed can stay healthy, either him or Griffin will get hurt though.
