If I'm a Rams fan, I'd be wondering why the team doesn't focus on firing Jeff Fisher and finding a better coaching staff, as oppose to trying to move to LA.
Yeah but the this years title has nothing to actually do with the trade on our side. Also the Rams have played in a tougher division than we have. They've had to play SF when they were one of the best teams in the NFL, Seattle and now Az. Had the Rams played in a weaker division they might have made the playoffs a few times. Maybe....

Really neither team has won the trade.

I agree that Fisher is the pits and his firing is long overdue. That would be the single biggest bonus the Rams could have ---- getting a new HC.

Agreed!

Jeff Fisher is an A$$!

And the Rams would be much better off with him gone!

My guess is that once the Rams get their location settled, which I hope is St. Louis, the ownership will consider firing Fisher.

Everyone killed us for that trade and yet we still have more to show for it

Are you referring to RGIII's great rookie season?

If you're talking about the 2005 season, the Redskins' improvement was totally unrelated to that trade. As you know, Griffin didn't play a snap this season.

Because of RGIII's injuries, the Rams ultimately got much more out of that trade, IMO.

Agreed. The Rams suck but id take those two first rounders n whoever we would have taken instead if griff at this point. At the time it needed to be done n u can never take away the division crown of 2012. Now though - hell yes id trade it for the three players.

The Rams haven't sniffed the playoffs since the trade. We've made it twice with two different QB's.

And this years draft more than made up for the RGIII compensation.

This year's draft has nothing to do with the RGIII trade.

I know that, I'm talking about the impact it made this year and makes forget about what was supposedly lost.

This year's Redskins playoffs appearance has nothing to do with that trade.

Well, if we don't take Griffin, and take Tannehill, do we still take Cousins?

If we had all our picks, and muddled through 8-8's do we hire SM?

All of the trade talk is just speculation, but it's hard to see things going the same path if we didn't do that trade?

Re: First place Redskins

Tired of talking about that trade anyway. I'd call it a wash, clearly neither team gained any sort of advantage in the long run.

If anything I think both teams lost the trade, meaning they would have been equal or better than they are now if the trade had not occurred. What a shame for all the fans...

biggest winner in the trade was the media. Lots of fodder for years to come.
