Re: First place Redskins
My goal this year was 8-8. Had no idea that would involve playoffs. Icing on the cake if we pull it off tonight.
Still more than 5 hours to go.

Re: First place Redskins
Like I said all season, 7 wins would be a huge success.

Re: First place Redskins
Apologies if this has already been posted. I couldn't find it in an exhaustive 1 minute 30 second search but I think this matters and is a testament to this team's resolve:
NFL Regular Season-End Games Missed Due to Injury January 4, 2016 - Man Games Lost We were in the top 4 in lost time to injuries and still made the playoffs. Check out the list and notice the teams or lack thereof that made the playoffs that ranked high. I'm really proud of this team.

Re: First place Redskins
Quick random thought about the RG3 trade (triggered by news of the Rams' filing for relocation):
Since 2012, the St. Louis Rams have finish with a record under .500; finishing either 3rd or 4th in their division. Their record during the past four season since the trade: 27-36-1. Since 2012, the Redskins have won two division titles, with two losing seasons in between the division titles. Their record in this span is: 26-38. If I'm a Rams fan, I'd be wondering why the team doesn't focus on firing Jeff Fisher and finding a better coaching staff, as oppose to trying to move to LA.

Re: First place Redskins
I agree that Fisher is the pits and his firing is long overdue. That would be the single biggest bonus the Rams could have ---- getting a new HC.

Jeff Fisher is an A$$! And the Rams would be much better off with him gone! My guess is that once the Rams get their location settled, which I hope is St. Louis, the ownership will consider firing Fisher.

Re: First place Redskins
Everyone killed us for that trade and yet we still have more to show for it

If you're talking about the 2005 season, the Redskins' improvement was totally unrelated to that trade. As you know, Griffin didn't play a snap this season. Because of RGIII's injuries, the Rams ultimately got much more out of that trade, IMO.

Agreed. The Rams suck but id take those two first rounders n whoever we would have taken instead if griff at this point. At the time it needed to be done n u can never take away the division crown of 2012. Now though - hell yes id trade it for the three players. |

Re: First place Redskins
The Rams haven't sniffed the playoffs since the trade. We've made it twice with two different QB's.

Re: First place Redskins
And this years draft more than made up for the RGIII compensation.
