Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
Maybe but I don't think it'll be before the draft. I assume his attitude and negative views from others haven't helped him either. I was almost certain he'd go to Houston

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
why would the Rams call for him? . . . they have the best young RB to come out in a long time . . . and a couple of backups that are just as good if not better than Alfred Morris . . . 49ers too, Carlos Hyde is far better overall runner than Alfmo . . . Alfmo had two great years for a reason, first was RGIII as all mobile QB's make the running game better .. . and Mike Shanahan as all Shanahan teams have good running games, no matter the back . . . and 9 times out of 10, when that running back leaves Shanahan (in in this case when Shanahan leaves the running back) he looks average at best.

Re:Morris to Dallas
I would hate it. HATE it. If Morris went to Dallas. I already think it's a mistake choosing Jones over him. But, I would wish him well except for those 2 games. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk |

Lies, damned lies, and statistics:
FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2016 Free Agency Cost-Benefit Analysis I really like FO work for the most part. This article covers "major" free agent signings. We don't appear on the good or bad list. NYG appear in exactly the right place at the worst end of the bad deal list. Their two "bad" signings are going to have to play all world to live up to the contract.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
Im speaking statistics, hes played better and had better stats each year since he came in (obviously minus this season) just judging by the eye test
He crushed him 12, 13, 14 head and shoulders above em.. I think in a competition ALFMO beats him out wether they ask him to catch a ton of passes or not..they threw to Morris a whopping 13 times last year... he caught 10 of them.... mcfadden didn't even have a ton more catches than Chris Thompson last year lol

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
Glad we didn't sign NT Ian Williams, he failed his physical due to multiple ankles surgeries and the 49ers re-did his contract to 1 year instead of 5. He might not start the season.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
it'd be shocking if they weren't better this year and the next, but that doesn't mean the contracts won't be a net negative over their entire term, since that money can't then be used on younger players that might end up walking etc. overspending now limits you in future years, not the current one.
not saying it can't work or pff is right/wrong, just that it's risky and spending sprees tend to work out poorly. jpp was a good value buy though, esp since you know exactly what he provides in the giants system. |
