I don't have a good answer for that. I suppose it is because no US politician has an effective policy for it, except to let it play out. If Trump refuses Erdogans request for Patriot missiles, you likely will see it come back into the mainstream but otherwise it will take a backpage to the sniping politics of all the media.

The middle east is and will always be a fucking disaster. There are no good options. No matter what choices are made, by either side, there will be criticisms of the action taken.

As there are no good options, I vote to stay the fuck out and keep moving towards energy independence by all means available.

No more nation building.

As for Syria, there wasn't and isn't a win for the US there. Russia, regardless of who the US President is, would never allow it to become US friendly, and they simply don't care about how a regime treats its citizens. An expanded US presence simply would have brought increased Russian opposition. Korea in the 1950s is what I think would be the most likely comparison. And just as bloody.

There is plenty of blame on all sides about the middle east as a whole. There are just no good options over there. I'm on the Rand Paul train regarding the middle east.

That money can be spent much better here. Or maybe actually put all that money towards our national debt. Hey politicians, it's ok to not spend every dollar you can get your mitts on.

Who is that pathetic clown pulling for? Of all the left wing journalists on TV he is the one I can't stand the most. I really enjoyed watching him damn near cry on the air when Trump won. He is definitely one of those that has zero tolerance for anyone who does not agree with him 100%. I have a Maryland medicinal card ... its really easy to get. The dispensaries are always packed with people and theres more and more dispensaries opening up daily.

I think I would be against blanket legalization. I dont think some 18 year old should just be able to walk in and walk out with 2 ounces of flower, 40 mg edibles, vape pens and shatter etc. I dont want some 18 or 22 year old driving around with his buddies eating 40 mg edibles. Those things can get you and sometimes can creep up on you. Some dumb kid will eat one, not feel anything in 5 mins get impatient and eat like 2 more.

Its basically already legal in Maryland. I think there should be some paperwork and steps people have to go through to get a card.

The State is taxing it very high already almost to the point companies are starting to think they wont be making a profit.

It is making Maryland a ton of tax revenue.
