Look at it this way: If you can't trade down any further, and there's nobody else you want, and if he fits you're system, don't you have to take him? It's only a reach if you don't like the pick, I guess. |

Personally, I'd have been happy with a defensive back, inside linebacker or O-line here.

Wonder if this guy would have even been drafted. 3rd round? I hope somebody saw something that shows he can be an above average guard. That was an amazing pick for 3rd round. He would have been around in the 6th if not 7th round. Hope he does well though.

I remember a lot of people hating on the Jenkins pick last year, calling him a reach and stuff. Once he hit the field opinions changed pretty quick.
