I guess it's the number of slots as opposed to the round, but it just seems like the 3rd round trade should have netted more. - Not objecting, just think it's odd.

BTW - I am all about adding picks. It's a pick f'ing crapshoot so just keep adding rolls of the dice. It's not like we are trading out of the rounds all together so for a slight decrease in percentages, we get an extra roll. I really like how this FO handles the draft - just from a pick accumulation basis.
I agree. I questioned the lack of picks this year. but I'm pleased with the strategy.

I guess different circumstances. Sometimes you overpay a little to make sure the deal gets done. With certain guys still on the draft board it may take a little more to convince a team to trade back. Who knows?

George Iloka is too talented for us to pass up.
And whats the deal with Dennard, why has he slipped so far? Should we draft him?

He beat up a cop this past week...thats why he (dennard) is dropping.

Dennard got abused at the bowl game in man to man, once a possible 2nd round prospect is in a free fall. He also got arrested a week ago

I dont understand why every team doesnt trade back like the 49ers just did as often as they can. They moved up, and got an extra pick. I'm sorry, whats the downside?

Height 5-10 said and durability concerns. I read that he would be great as an inside nickel back.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

Waiting for someone to call the Cousins pick a slap in the face to RG3, will RG3 hold out as a result?
