Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
If that's the case I'd cross him off my draft board if I was an NFL team. He's got some serious 'splaining to do.

If he is not gay he should not cover up a lie with another lie. If he says he is gay and gets caught with a woman at any point in his career... I can only imagine what people would say, especially folks from the gay community.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Covering up a lie with an even bigger one, yeah not the best course of action.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Depends on how deep the rabbit hole goes, but I could see teams having serious trust issues with the kid and questions about his decision making and overall character. He's not undraftable, but again depending on how deep this thing goes I think it could be enough of a red flag for some teams to cross him off their board.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
Claiming to be gay while not would be the worst career move he could make.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
what is his specialty? does he do anything particularly well?
i'm telling you, he's a derek smith type at best: career may last close to a decade career may include plenty of starts career may not include any pro bowls should probably do better than smith's 13.5 career sacks / 4 career ints / 3 career forced fumbles

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
All the mormon churches in Hawaii say they have no records of Te'o or his family ever being in the mormon churches.... I'm joking just stirring the pot
