HC experience and what he's done with a struggling Rivers and SD offense. He's easily the best coordinator and HC prospect seen this wknd.

Gruden is the worst of the wknd. He's probably the guy no other franchise wants (haven't heard him linked to any other franchise) and with BA's link to Jon it's probably like a favor to Jay. Do you think Jon could be testing us out through Jay though?

I'm sure Mike McCoy has nothing to do with the San Diego's success

Detroit and Cleveland also have him on their radar.

Jay Gruden expected to emerge as Redskins top coaching candidate - CBSSports.com

He's the only candidate who could conceivably hold a candle to shanahan. All the other candidates everyone's salivating over are sh!t. I think 2 years from everyone will be wishing we had kept him.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?

Based off the new rumors how does this sound...

Jay Gruden= HC
James Franklin=OC
Assistant HC/ Oline= Russ Grimm- I know if Ken goes to Detriot this won't happen but so what! Lol
DC=Raheem Morris or Greg Williams.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?

So Whisenhunt has HC experience. That's great. We just fired a guy with twice as much. And what has Wiz done without Warner?

^ He won a playoff game today. Against a team with three other Redskins HC candidates.

This is becoming comical reading some of this stuff in here. Thanks for the laughs.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?

All of these candidates are all pretty close and are unknown to what they can bring to this team. At least this thread does bring some humor to it, I dont care who they hire. I cant wait to they do so we can move on into the offseason and wait until March to talk about FA, then May for the draft.

Re: Who Do You Want to Be The Head Coach?

I'd like to see how Gruden would scheme around rg3 ability as a runner. When you talk about other OC coaching candidates, bevell and say like roman, these guys have develop athletic qb with the ability to gain large chunks on the ground. Could Gruden do that with the 3rd or would he go the route of dalton development in a more traditional pocket passer?
