Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
It does not look like Rivera is being as aggressive as I hoped he would. We lose Flowers. He bet beat BY THE BROWNS to Hooper. Very unimpressive.

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
They wanted Flowers but at more like $6 or $7M per, at $10 they were ok with him walking. I read yesterday their interest in Hooper was lukewarm at best.

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
10 per for Flowers seems crazy - he had one good season in a new position and beyond that he was considered a massive bust. That seems pretty rich but the Phins have money and picks to burn.
Losing Hooper is ok with me too - he’s not close to the best TE and we would have overpaid. Wanted to keep Flowers, but you can’t keep everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I suppose the big question is how much of it was Callahans doing, will Flowers "bloom" in Miami

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
Hooper shouldn't be the top paid TE in the league and glad we didn't back up the Brinks for him. Trade Trent for hopefully a 2nd and go get a TE in the draft. Also maybe they like what they saw from Hentges.

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
It’s been a crazy and unimpressive day for all us Skins fans. But all hope is not lost. At the end of the day the best we can do is trust in whatever plan Ron has for us and hope for the best. Its a good sign we’re not back to our old ways of picking up all the vets on the fringe or retirement anymore.
That being said. In my book there are still a few FA left on the table that I would like to see happen. In no specific order. 1. OT Viatai from the Eagles. Especially if the Williams trade happens 2. A corner that isn’t overpaying for Bradberry. I wouldn’t hate a Cory Littleton signing in lieu of a DB here 3. Now that Hooper is off the table. I would be less opposed to seeing us make a splash signing at WR 4. Bring in a FB that can block and if he can catch even better. 5. Trade Williams and hold strong for an early day 2 pick. 6. Maybe throw a 3 year offer to Tre Boston see if he bites. That’s my take not reaching for the stars to much I don’t think but our defense will the better for it. And hopefully a FB can help counter balance our OL problems |

Really pissed off, all I want is for the Skins to win the offseason by being big spenders in free agency again. Come on Riverboat Ron, gamble Dan's earnings away!

I’d like to see us sign Boston at FS. Glad that Bradberry went elsewhere.

Can we agree that Bill OBrien is the worst GM ever. Holy cow. No first rounders for Clowney and now Hopkins. Maybe we can get JJ Watt for a 3rd. Houston fans must be ready to kill.

Agreed on Boston. Would have wanted Bradberry but not for what he signed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
Me 3 on Boston.
If not, would Randall be a fit? Maybe Adrian Phillips? Both likely cheaper than Boston but would they be enough of an upgrade for the money? I'd also want at least Littleton or Schobert in at LB (maybe even both as we haven't splashed out so far?). Curious if the Rams are trying to do a deal with Littleton as he's ranked 7th in NFL.com's list of FA and there's been no word on any negotiations... Beyond them the field is thin for our needs. Maybe take Ebron as a 1 year stand in until we can bring a promising draft along? I'd also agree that Anderson wouldn't be a bad add (better than Richardson I'll warrant) but could be expensive for a #2 (or 3 if Sims/Harmon/draft pick surges). Again, if we have the money to burn maybe a 1 year deal if he'll take it? |

I think it was Grant & Danny that said the NFL needs to start drug testing coaches and front office people when discussing O'Brien's moves.

He probably could have gotten a 1st Round pick in about 2 minutes by calling other teams. |

I reckon O'Brien must play Madden. OTOH they simulated the Hopkins trade and Madden wouldn't allow it.
