Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I am sure if you look at the first half stats it will be even worst.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
LOL...that was a tough catch.
In case you missed it, even the announcer said it was conservative, the fans think it's conservative, and the people here think so too...it's only you that is saying it isn't. I wonder who's right?

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Oh well, as long as we win, I'm OK with it. We can't do this every week...but we could get away with it vs the Cards.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I haven't denied it's conservative, but I'm trying to explain why it is. Are the coaches just being conservative for the sake of being conservative? I'd prefer to consider the reasons why that is rather than just passing blame and not understanding why things happen they way they do.

We're giving Warner time again.

Why isn't Laddell getting more carries?

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
It limits what you do but as some of us have been saying all year, what does that have to do with taking a 3 step drop and throwing a slant on 2nd and 7 when the defense has 9 in the box? No intelligent fan wants to see JC taking 7 step drops and heaving the ball downfield every play, but when all of us on our couches KNOW we're going to see run left, run left, short pass, punt on every second half possession with a 1 or 2 TD lead then it's not just 'OL problems'. That's as much of an 'easy way out' as you claim playcalling is.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Well, everyone who wants to see us throw will get plenty next week. We'll have to score at least 30+ to have a chance.

But I'm not debating that the Skins shouldn't struggle. I can understand that. Just that they need to get their consistency together. The Defense can't pull them out of sticky situations every game. Something's gonna give and it's not gonna be pretty. I just fear for that moment.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Opposing team driving late in the game down by one score....sound familiar?
