I have Jahvid Best starting, and he does pretty well. The one week i didn't play was the week he went freaking nuts. I drafted Jamaal Charles and he has pretty much been riding the bench since the nutball in KC wasn't using him early. Glad i kept him. I knew they would eventually figure it out. Plus i have Jackson from Buffalo on the bench, which he should definately start heating up since he will be the #1 guy. I picked up Torain also (homer!) I am just waiting for the light to go off with this dude. he runs to hard to not put up some good numbers at some point during the season. |

Re: Fantasy Tips
Hey guys is it just me? or does it seem to everyone else that fantasy points are being scored by the receivers and QBs more this year than the running backs. I am 5-0 in my league with Michael Turner and Matt Forte as my RBs. Turner has had the yards, but only one score and I was able to take advantage of Forte's big day Week 1, but I actually benched him (ugh) last week for Torain. In the mean time I have Miles Austin, Austin Collie, Donald Driver, Tom Brady and Kyle Orten, along with Dallas Clark. These guys are winning games for me, not my RBs.

Re: Fantasy Tips
It's a passing league more than ever this year, and with so many RB by committee approaches out there RBs just aren't as impactful as they used to be.

Re: Fantasy Tips

Re: Fantasy Tips
I havent shared thus far, but now Im 1-4 so Ill give it a whirl:
Non ppr, we start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K DEF Sanchez, C Palmer(BYE) Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, Donald Driver, Roy Williams, Beanie Wells(BYE) Ryan Torain, Michael Turner, LT, Ronnie Brown Vernon Davis Gano NYG, BAL Those in bold are current starters. That what I should roll with? I sure which I would of switched out Driver for R Williams and Torain for LT last week but its always easier to say that after the fact. I think Torain can tear up some Indy def this week. |

Re: Fantasy Tips
I dunno, I feel that LT is the safer pick, but Torain could run all over the Indy D.

Re: Fantasy Tips
Torain will only run all over Indy if the Skins commit to the run like they did against Philly. The OLine needs to really play nasty this week. Put Mathis and Freeney on the ropes by running at them all day.

Re: Fantasy Tips
So far, the only team that hasn't gashed the Colts this season with the run are the Broncos. Torain will like either get a bunch of yards or some yards and a TD.

Re: Fantasy Tips
I'm in a similar Torain conundrum... I don't know whether to start him or Michael Bush this week.

Re: Fantasy Tips
I need to start 3 .... what do you guys think?
Andre Johnson (obvious) #1 ... but for 2/3 ... Santana Moss, Malcolm Floyd, Wes Welker, Hines Ward....

Re: Fantasy Tips
I'd go with Moss and Floyd. While Moss seems to be boom or bust, you don't want to have him sitting when he's booming (let's just hope the porous Indy rush defense doesn't totally take the ball out of McNabb's hands). Floyd has been fairly consistent this season as Rivers' #2 option- they're going to carve up St. Louis this weekend. I think the Ravens' D may hone in on Welker with Moss being gone, but who knows. Ward's going to see an uptick with Ben returning, but I like the other two options more this week.

Re: Fantasy Tips
hmm, well at least you have a GOOD problem, i'd go with floyd and welker seeing as how you beat the colts on the ground and not through the air. but any tandem you pick will probably be ok.
