Armstrong looks great...I still think Banks is on the bubble...especially since all other WR's did ok...heck even Galloway had a couple catches.

It was nice to see Armstrong performing against starters and lighting it up on special teams. Loving when there were 4-5 on the line on defense...it was a far superior unit to a 3 man front...many predictions are coming true...we are still not staffed for an effective 3-4....or we are holding back dramatically with 3-4 blitzes because the base 3-4 sucked against the run...our run blocking stunk again...pass protection was decent.

I still think Galloway is too weak to be a #2...so he caught a pass wide open in the middle of the field....I could do that!

I am totally unimpressed with him.
Did Devin Thomas play...if he did...that is seriously bad news...

Unfortunately none of them could throw a good deep ball. But it was a better outing for all of them, especially Grossman's performance against an elite D like the Jets.

I think it is now fair to start making predictions on the season.

I am concerned about our defense...particularly run defense.
Also very concerned about the running game.
Passing game should be improved...passing d the same, special teams the same.
So all in all...that doesn't show much improvement.
It seems both the o line and d line need several games to jell still...that is a concern.
I am worried about our first month...probably 1-3 start without looking at schedule if they dont cover for these growing pains
If you cant run/stop the run you are in trouble.
The good thing is the solid coaching...we can pass our way thru...but run defense is my greatest concern....we should use a 4-3 mostly for the first month...it works

Last week the OF played an elite DF they made the necessary adjustments and came out this week and looked way better against another elite DF.
