People who fight terrorism professionally say it is a serious situation. You say it is not. Goodie for you.

The people who fight terrorism are the same people who lie to you on a consistantly basis. Yup, there still looking for those weapons of mass destruction in Iraq! Yesirreee...

Anyways, lets talk about the game this weekend and not some Faux terrorism alerts. Thanks.

When they broke the news last night on CNN about the possiblity of credible terrorists threats on the anniversary of 9/11. It actually made me want to go to the game. I have no plans to travel up there to see the game but the fact that we are suppose to live in fear of these people just scratched a nerve in me to go. Myh best friend and I were there for the first ESPN Monday night football game back in 06 the five year anniversary of the attacks. AND it was electric in the stadium before kickoff. The flags waving everywhere during the national anthem was a site to behold. I have a picture of it hanging in the hallway of my house. We lost that game to the then Brad johnson led Vikings but the pregame energy was awesome. I would love to be back there for the tenth anny but it is just not in the cards.

SCREW the Jihadists and get your asses out there to the stadium. Fear not my friends, if it is your time then it is your time. Only God knows what will become of us all in the end. Live your life as free men and women, and damn on the rest. HAIL!!

The real people who actually do the fighting will never be the ones to lie to you.

There are credible threats this weekend, but lets not lock ourselves in the house. Get out there and enjoy your life, if you live in fear of a terrorist attack then they have already won.

lol. /facepalm

Anways. My biggest fear this weekend just so happens to be one of Rex's main weaknesses. His pocket presence. Giants D-line (regardless if Osi/Tuck are out) are still good, and I worry that Rex is going to fold under the pressure and possibly cough up the ball. His pocket presence and ball security is SOOOO bad. Here is hoping to a great game by Rex!!

I think this game will be close, but we'll pull away in the fourth and win by either 4 or 9 points. I feel like later in the year we'll play them when they are at their healthiest and the most players back, but they'll lose to us by a lot for that second game when they'll be most expected to beat us.

Also, off topic, but this Burfict kid from ASU, looks like the next Ray Lewis.

Cult, that's the way it usually goes. Football is very unpredictable. Good call.

NC Skins you need to......
How about we just talk about the Giants/Skins game? That way, we don't have to tell people off? If you have to ask if you cross the line.....that isn't a good sign. Just sayin.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants pre-game thread

Well my thoughts on this weekends vs the Giants are as flollow:
I think we have a 60/50 chance to get a victory if we do the these things.
1. Rush the football and gain 100 or more yards
2.Hold the Giants under 100 yards rushing.
3. When the turnover battle.
4.Score a TD on special teams ( Punt Return, KR, or Block Punt TD)
5.When the time of possession.
6. Most important keep the Giants from sacking Rex.
7.Come out in New Uniforms. New season new attitude
If we can do these things we should win the game.
My prediction Redskins 27 - Giants 16
Hail to Redskins Nation and God Bless America

Do we really HAVE to score on 'teams'....and are you saying that we can't give up a sack at all? Sounds like pretty strict criteria to overcome.

How about we win because they are decimated by injuries on D and have looked out of sync offensively?

Re: Redskins vs. Giants pre-game thread

LOL! I can't believe I didn't notice that!

I love it!

One thing about football.....footballs have a very odd shape - they were never meant to be thrown through the air. Causes them to bounce funny, pop out at the wrong time and completely change games - just by virtue of their cumbersome form.

Anything can happen. Any one of us can be right.
