Usually i would love this comment cus you know im a critical one but based on how we played the giants today i suddenly feel we have a serious chance to win this division despite any feelings i harbor inside for the FO or coaches. Rg-3 is just awesome. We need to go into the bye 5-4 and get healthy than come out and see how the division games shake out. Boys gints and birds have brutal schedules.

I guess that was the secondary's fault too.

Stick with the plan guys. Let this group run the course of their contracts and see where we stand. This team is getting better and better. And btw the way we are super young. We will win soon if not this year.
I agree with you but were not getting graded on this and i understand what he is saying even with the poor grammar. Maybe he is typing on his phone or he is just not the best speller but no need to make fun.

Ok fine grammar aside, I don't agree with him. The FO isn't the problem and neither is the offense. We all know where the problems lie. The defensive back field.

Our O is the leading rushing team, and what third in scoring and yardage overall. We are good on O besides a RT.

Focus this team on finding a new d backfield and another pass rusher and we are good. Ready to contend for the NFC good.

I think we have a good offense, but today the offense made a lot of mistakes early on in the game that led to the loss. They were 0-2 in the redzone, turned the ball over 4 times (3 of them were early on though), and could only muster 3 points off the two picks that the defense had.

I know they had a bad day, but had the team in position to win with 1:30 left. 480 yards of offense, but what, 4 or 5 turnovers. Very hard to win in the NFL with that many turnovers. I would say today was definitely a rarity rather than a norm on the TO front.

Yeah but if they don't have a bad day, they probably would not have been in that position at the end of the game. The offense had 3 turnovers, were 0-2 in the red zone and could only come up with 3 points off two turnover by the defense.

I think what the defense did at the end was terrible, but let's not forget those offensive miscues that would have made the game very different.

It's one thing to let him go because you've got a younger cheaper healthier player who can approximate the production but we replaced him with a bunch of castoffs and journeymen. Baffling.
The actual coaching is more of a secondary issue than a primary one. It is an issue though. The decisions to move Niles Paul and play Tyler Polumbus will not make the hall of fame. Not to mention the questionable decisions that havent completely stunk, like going with Will Montgomery at center another year.

Alfred Morris has fixed a huge Torain-sized hole at RB, but I'm not sure what Royster has to do in order to earn playing time.

The primary issue is that what we've built is a bad team with a transcendental talent at quarterback. And he's almost single handedly beating teams on Sunday, despite being handcuffed in the passing game quite a bit (not without good reason, see: Polumbus, Tyler).

We're definitely improved from where we were 365 days ago. But most of that improvement was made in December of last year, and/or when we benched John Beck.

The defense sucks

But how about the play of your QB at the end of these games! It seems like every game so far he has either put us in position to win/tie/end the game with these late drives. If our record were better you could argue league MVP.

I think Wil Montgomery has been much better this year. Its surprised me actually. In fact the entire interior oline has been a very solid bunch imo

Royster doesn't even get carries over young and hes a fb. He must not be any good or he just doesn't get the offense or something.

It's progressed as expected, but I still think the decision to move forward with those three can be questioned. For the record, I'm not criticizing the actual play at the center position. It's a heck of a lot better than it was when Rabach was here. I'm just saying that the move wasn't popular.

Right tackle is the only sieve on this OL. Also a good time to remind everyone: we're paying jammal brown more money than anyone else on the offense not named Trent Williams.

Ya don't say..

He made plays today most vets can't make. The fourth down play. There were a couple of third down plays that were all him being patient. He is unbelievable at times.

Best offensive player we have had since... I can't even answer it. Sammy Baugh?
