So, do we end the QB controversy before the year begins? Send em' Cousins? For a 1st rounder (maybe 2nd)? If RG3 bombs this year (I don't think he will), we have more ammo to find a new QB next year (or more likely, we have more ammo to help fix our crappy OL next year).

Shaun Hill the ex Terp is the man now in St. Louis (didn't know he was still in the league).

Do we put out feelers to St Louis about KC? Gotta have some market at this point?

I don't see how you trade KC with what you are seeing from RG3 right now. Plus the chance of injury.

The only way I see a trade is if the deal is just way too good or if management wants to just eliminate any QB controversy right now. But that is really putting all your eggs in one basket.

If I'm the GM I do not trade Cousins just because the local media and fans are having a field day with drumming up controversy.

A few wins in a row and all that nonsense goes away. You don't run the risk of being left with Colt Mccoy because of that.

I honestly don't think anyone's going to offer anything close to what Allen would require to let him go. At least I hope he'd require a lot...

See I think McCoy makes a good backup and kirk could do well there. I would take a conditional 2nd for cousins and call it a win all around to me. And I am not saying it because of media, but because KCs value right now has to be as high as it possibly could. I would think you at least see what deal could be done.

If they offer a 2nd I'd drive Cousins to St Louis myself.

It'd almost be fair, given the Rams RG3 trade, to give a little back to us.

No one trades for players that look bad - to get a good draft pick we have to give up something that's relatively good. Cousins played well in preseason, against backups, and may be a good QB -- but right now I'd take the 2nd round pick for next year than a good backup QB. Sure, RG3 isn't playing well, and we know he can get hurt. Colt will do just fine to back him up with less controversy.

Next year we'd have three picks in the top 60, and if we draft as well as this year seems to be, we'd have three starters. Maybe O-line, safety/secondary..

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

It certainly depends on the offer, in that it has to be a premium offer. I would think that a 2nd would be extremely hard to pass up.

Thank god some of you aren't running the team. Feel awful for Bradford. He just can't seem to get over the injury bug.

He was fragile in college too with a shoulder injury. Bradford was the last #1 overall pick before the rookie salary cap, so don't feel too sad for him. His guaranteed money was on par with the signing bonus paid to Eli Manning after he won his first Super Bowl!
