I really think folks should strive for a higher wage. Some rather make this wage and receive assistance from the government. If you don't think this is true, you should have worked with me when I worked for VCU and worked within the poorer communities of the city. Folks, Im awestruck at the lack of talk about education in this campaign. This is how you lift folks up. It affects a ton of other issues, especially income inequality, minimum wage, entitlement programs, government spending, etc. This is really a dumb country. For some reason folks want hand outs...its easier I guess. Free college, free health, free family leave, free everything...

Re: Republican nominee for President
Really don't understand why the GOP voters love candidates with no experience so much. Only one of the last five has any executive experience, none of them have any foreign policy experience, which is like 1/2 the job. Two of them have never been elected to anything.
Can anyone honestly say that if you were hiring for the position of President, that you would even consider these people for the job? It is like going to the hospital for major surgery and asking for the least experienced doctor they had, infact not even a doctor let the orderly do it.

the problem with outsiders is that people elect them thinking they'll be able to change things, and don't realize that the president's powers are actually a bit limited, especially if he's fighting congress. |

Re: Republican nominee for President
maybe you misread my post? the problem with outsiders isn't special interests or lobbyist, that's the problem with our political system, which, i assume is the point you wanted to make.

Re: Republican nominee for President
Did anyone see this?! SMH.
https://www.facebook.com/MitchellWig...6535712880257/ There is literally no substance to what these people are saying. People are running with ONE talking point. "I looove guns. I love the second amendment, so I'm voting for Trump." "He has big balls, I'm voting for Trump." Aside from a wall, he hasn't said SHIT. I hate politics and am already over it. Every other candidate has their own brand of bullshit, but it's the typical stuff we're used to every election season. His shit is just slammed in your face non-stop and these people just make me sad for America. If those type of people are what's going to make America "great" again, I hear Canada is beautiful this time of year.

Re: Republican nominee for President
It's shocking to think the rest of the world thinks of us as...shallow...decadent and valueless.

Re: Republican nominee for President
Electing Donald Trump would just prove their point.
