I am pissed that we let Clark go. Did you see his hit on Chris Henry today. It was clearly bad ass.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
If the schedule were only filled with favorable conditions like this. All of us can dunk on a 7 ft basket. He has got to step up to serious competition. He did not in the first two weeks. He played today against an inferior team (at any location). If this builds his confidence for the Jax game - fine, but they bring it, and if we are unable to run on that D, we will need a GREAT game from him.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
never in my wildest dreams would i have thought that mark brunell could actually break a meaningful nfl record. He's so happy he's talking about himself in the third person.
""Mark is going to be fine," Brunell said. "We have to help him and the people around him have to help him. Everybody has to do a better job because the quarterback's production often times relies on the people that are catching the ball, the people that are blocking, the play design and our effort. "We will do a better job and help Mark be a better player. I think he is going to be fine." lololol I think redskins.com made a typo. |

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Bottom Line, We played a very good game against a weak team. I was hoping this would happend to get our confidence up against some stronger teams, and if that happend, it works. Exactly what i expected to happen today, happend. We beat up on a crappy Texans team. People played well, we did what we had to do, and now we'll see next week vs Jax.

Mark is all business. First time I've seen him in a sports coat during a presser. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
congrats to MB for the record... much can be attributed to the line play.
not sure if anyone noticed, but it seemed like Derrick Dockery had his best game as a pro... there were several times where he brushed off his man and blocked a second guy on the same play. he played with some attitude today and the entire line was on point. we need to cut the penalties though big time- still a major problem. portis is the offense. i thought the D played well- without springs, we still were able to take out their second WR... houston had been doing well passing the ball the first few weeks. it helps they didn't have much of a running attack at all. I'm still kinda scared about archuleta- he's gotta at least body tackle. |
