re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Wait, what season are we in now? It was this past season that seemed to lack the spark it had in the past. I thought we just finished season 5 and were heading into 6.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Finally got around to watching Dexter, seasons 1 and 2. I think it's pretty entertaining. I find it morbidly funny to root for a serial killer.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Yep, this show has really fallen off. While its still entertaining, its not what it used to be. I feel like all shows have a very specific shelf life. I feel the same about Entourage now too... after 4-5 seasons, it just feels like things are just being written into the show for the sake of having something in there and they're not nearly as interesting. The first 3 seasons of The Office we're amazing, and the Jim/Pam storyline was something everyone could kind of live through. Its still really funny, but once they got together, it kind of killed the show for me in terms of must see TV.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Over the weekend I got together with some friends and watched some reality TV on demand.
I find myself addicted to Work of Art on Bravo and the OCD Project and You're Cut Off on Vh1. Work of Art is actually a really neat show. I like watching artist create incredible pieces of art out of literally, things they picked up out of a bin or simply creating pieces of art out of scratch. Pretty amazing stuff. But You're Cut Off... Hah, nothing like watching spoiled rich women try to survive a "normal" life without mommy's/daddy's/sugar daddy's money. Oh and there's a woman on there who we all pretty much unanimously agreed is a prostitute since she lied about where she worked, (said she's an investment banker on wall street, yet couldn't say what she specialized in) and from then on out wouldn't disclose her job except saying that she works hard to be able to afford the expensive things she does and that she doesn't get support from anyone. Ah. Trash reality TV. My favorite guilty pleasure.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
The Office is about Michael Scott. I can't see it any other way. Him leaving would be like if they killed Tony Soprano off in season 4 and then tried to keep The Sopranos going. The Office has great characters but the basis of the show is centered around what it is like to work in HIS office with people that work for HIM.

I'm really looking forward to Boardwalk Empire on HBO. Big fan of the Steve Buscemi and Martin Scorsese. Wish I didn't have to wait until Sept. 19th for the premiere.
