Re: Report: Shanahan to DC done deal
If I had to bet I would say Shanahan is still the top choice... seems to be too many reliable sources backing that up.

Re: Report: Shanahan to DC done deal
I agree Shanahan is Snyder's top choice... just everything i've read indicates the feeling is not mutual. So i beleive the mystery candidate is a "Plan B" with enough pizzaz to make skins fans forget all about Shanahan.

But Who?? Who could it be? Gruden?
I just seriously had the worse thought ever.....Snyder brings back Gibbs for a 3rd coaching stint....

Re: Report: Shanahan to DC done deal
No way that happens. Gibbs has no desire to go through that grind again. Even coming on in a team president role would likely be too much for him.

Re: Report: Shanahan to DC done deal
Do we have a plan B in the event we do not land Shanahan? If so, who do you think that might be?

On the other hand, the talk on this site about Gibbs being in the front office made some sense until Allen was hired. I guess there's still the possibility of Gibbs in the FO to handle personnel, but it seems so unlikely w/Allen on board. |

But I think if it's not Shanahan. You might look at some other choices such as Shanahan's son, Marty's son, Mike Zimmer, and Leslie Frazier. But at this point we're getting into like Plan J

What seperated Gibbs' 0-5 start from that of Marty Schottenheimer's, Gibbs inherited a much better team. Those three HOF's (always felt Mosley) should have been a fourth contributed greatly to his success. |

He inherited Riggo, Monk and Moseley. Who's the 3rd?
