The Investigators: Dashcam video clears NJ man; Cops now indicted | 7online.com
These things aren't just isolated cases either. It's happening more and more. Imagine the shit that isn't caught. It's time to make ALL police officers wear Go-Pros. It'll protect the cops and the citizens rights.

If citizens are subjected to CCTV (which we are, without prior consent), then cops should be also.

Re: What's up with the cops these days?
3 Reasons Intelligent, Rational Americans Don’t Trust Police
Many Americans have people employed as cops in their families, and use that fact to rationalize “the good” of the entire profession. Some are simply too afraid to say anything about obvious violent, thuggish behavior of cops, while others desperately want to hold onto what little Pollyanna Americana is left in their hearts. The facts speak for themselves as far as why Americans need to be proactive in protecting themselves against the largest and most heavily armed gang in the USA. Here are three of those facts. |

While it isn't something off main stream media, can you explain exactly what is wrong with the information in the article? They used Gallop polls for sources in the article and other national studies. Can you somehow prove what the article stats is wrong or using false data?

Just for clarity sake can you answer the following questions: What percentage of cops do you think abuse their authority more than 1 time a year? More than 6 times a year? More than once a month? Also I don't mean horrendous abuse ie telling an unarmed homeless man "this fist is going to f*** you up". I am talking about any use of their authority to gain perks, intimidate others, or to flout laws they then enforce on others. |

For anyone wanting more information on the evolution of the Police, please head over to Cop Block | Reporting Police Abuse, Brutality, and Corruption.
It's far from a few isolated cases, sadly. |
