Grossman leaves something to be desired but, it was kind of refreshing seeing a bunch of guys willing to put in work during the week then play together on Sunday.

Good win, but they still need to go all in for Luck. A qb like that will make average wr's and linemen look better. Trade the 1st, 2nd, and next year 1st for this guy.

hell no that is what is wrong with this team and what we always do. we need to change the culture here. stop trading the picks. damn even if the experts say he is a sure thing, still not worth 3 high draft picks

Forget the experts, watch him play. This guy is playing with below average wr's. He is better than any qb we have right now. Until we fix this qb thing, we always going to be a middle of the road team. We should be able to get some form of draft picks for guys like Hall, Carter, AH, and DM. This guy is made for this system.

Yeah sure we will. 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks. Which as you saw last year did well enough to land on our practice squad. You don't find a lot of starting caliber talent in the last three rounds. You find projects who once in awhile can get you a diamond in the rough. We don't have the ammo in the draft to pull something like this off. Other teams might be able to, but not us IMO.

None of the guys you suggested will fetch high rounders. A 3rd at most. And Sonny couldn't win a ring because his supporting cast wasn't enough. Having only a 5th rounder or worse next year is lol.

Its one thing to draft a QB high in the 1st round but another to give up a entire draft and a 1st pick the next year to get him. not worth the risk IMO, if we dont get him its not like we are the team who passed on him

I'm talking about three picks, hell we draft 2 wr's and a te and none of them will be a star. This is the year to do it. This draft is a waste without a 3rd and 4th round pick. With a elite qb and a stud at LT, we will on our way to a elite team. This team has a lot over paid or over rate players. It's time to cut the payroll and start over. This is the guy to do it with. I don't know if teams will be willing to trade with us. But I know one thing, the guys we have now won't cut it on winning teams.

I hear that, but we can win the SB without Superior QB talent...ergo Theisman, Williams and Rypien. They simply had Superior O-lines.

How many of those linemen were first round picks.

Best you would get for AH and DM would be a straight up 3rd rounder for each one. AH is a problem child and Donovan has already hit the apex of his career, only the downward spiral is left for him. Everyone knows we want to unload these two for anything, so they will act accordingly. As for your infatuation with Luck, two names for you: Harrington and Carr. With poor Ramsey in the #3 slot, this was supposed to be the best QB class in a long time and they all 3 were epic failures once they turned pro. Playing Pac 10 beat ons for most of your schedule and doing well doesn't mean much once you get into the NFL.

That strategy has worked well for us in years past hasn't it?

How are we going to replace the guys who leave by retiring or FA? UDFA isn't going to solve everything.

You talking about amaybe 5 or 6 guys. Even if we use the picks, we not going to strike a diamond with all of them. All the good teams have 5 or 6 udfa. This is one position u got to fix.
