Here’s the thing; Gruden doesn’t do that if he’s not hearing something elsewhere. Like from the head coach. I’ve talked to a few people who have said that Mike Shanahan has told them he thinks Beck is better than Rex Grossman. And Gruden would have been in a production meeting with Shanahan the other day. Wonder if the QB topic came up. What do you think?

OK I read back a bit. I know I lean towards Grossman, as my default pick at QB, but my thing is just starting experience. If Beck starts the last game and really looks solid, I can see myself jumping ship. I think this Johnny kid is trying to push himself into my territory of irrational love for mediocre Qbs!!!!!!! Sorry, kid there is only room for one of us and I have been here longer! I AM THE TRUE ORIGINAL IN HERE!!!!!!!

Starting QB IMO should be JB. Grossman fan's won't have to wait long according to what you've been saying JB will last about an hour then MS/KS will yank him and Grossman will go in. I don't see that happening but JB to start we Know what Grossman can do & can't do.

if we're winning/looking good offensively, it doesn't really matter. grossman is 20-13 i heard as a starter (did not confirm), both are pushing 30, and neither one is going to the probowl, so it's whatever.

average QB A vs average QB B isn't nearly as exciting as the local sports media is making it out to be (or, rather, isn't a story worth nearly as much press as it's been given).
