Hey, he's the one who said no matter what the Cowboys gave up to get Harvin, they'd be the winners of that trade. I was just providing an example of what that could mean.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style

Sounds like Rex Ryan doesn't plan on Landry starting this season. Might be able to if he pushes hard, but he won't last. That HGH ruined him. Think he would have learned by now.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style

It's cool.

Anyways...

Report: Dolphins to fine players for 'unauthorized' iPad surfing - NFL News | FOX Sports on MSN

Since the Dolphins are transitioning to using Ipads for playbooks, shouldn't they just install a filter to block any unauthorized websites instead of asking players to refrain from visiting websites?

Also can anybody in the know tell me if the Redskins have transitioned to using Ipads for playbooks yet? That seems like a smart idea, it would eliminate a lot of paper, and I think it would make it easier on the players to study diagrams, learn individual details, etc. better than looking at plays on paper would.

I don't know, though Snyder is the co-chair of the NFL digital media committee so it's possible

Be careful, in the UK, it could mean something totally different.

That would be just as horrible an idea as putting Keith Olbermann on SNF pre-game. Politics and football do not mix.

I agree. I just think it is funny they are firing her and blaming her for all of their problems. NBC is clearly looking for a scapegoat for their slumping ratings.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style

This is why I'm continually reminded that my stance of "the NFL owners are greedy douche bags" will continue to be valid.

Report: Colts, Andrew Luck hung up on contract over marketing opportunities - CBSSports.com

Quote:
Instead, it's about how much Luck can make with marketing deals. As Pasquarelli writes, “One of the stumbling blocks in negotiations between Indianapolis and the top overall choice in the draft ... is the proposed inclusion of marketing language that Luck and his representatives, at least so far, regard as strident. One source with knowledge of the talks even suggested that Luck would ‘have to clear' marketing proposals with the club.”

..and NO, I don't believe Jim Irsay's tweets denying this. You'd think the owners would just sign the ****ing contract once they were absolved from having to pay these huge sums of money to rookies. Now that they got that, they want MORE. They are going to run this game into the ground.
