And by the way, since when did injured plauyers provide a lot of cover? The Packers won a SB with 15 players on IR. We had awful -- just awful -- injuries to contend with this year. So did lots of other teams. But Rob Ryan's defense utterly collapsed late in the season when they needed to step up.

Too bad -- I loved sticking it to that clown.
I'm not a fan of his at all but I agree with NC. Now they may actually get a good D Coord again. All I was saying is the d was pretty good until Lee and Ratliff went down

His silvery locks of love sure helped him out...

Sources -- Rob Ryan fired as Dallas Cowboys D-coordinator - ESPN Dallas

And he sure is a cocky S.O.B.

"I inherited a team that was 31st in the league in defense and made them better," Ryan said. "I (expletive) made them a hell of a lot better. I'll be out of work for like five minutes."

I love that guy. Too bad he couldn't stay with the Boys forever. That quote is brilliant.

I am so torn ...

On one hand, I despise the Ryan's as classless arrogant assholes who have an undeservedly high opinion of themselves so I love watching them get fired.

On the other hand, I immensely enjoyed watching Kyle and Griffin depants him on national TV and was looking forward to many more years of it.

He is just an epically giant ass.

Reid is the type of guy where despite my hate for Philly I always respected and kind of rooted for him. So nice that he's out of the NFC East and likely in a city that will appreciate him.

Does anyone understand why no one seems interested in gruden? As a fan, I find it almost insulting that teams are chasing after these mediocre college coaches while a proven offensive genius like gruden can't get an interview.

Lol, which Gruden, because Jon Gruden can certainly get an interview if he wants it. Teams are just tired of getting rejected. Sort of like Bill Cowher who recently declared he wouldn't coach for the next 5 years.

Kelly denied having any interest in an NFL coaching job this past Saturday, claiming that leaving Notre Dame "is not an option. I don't even think about it."

...and yet he's interviewing for a NFL job.
