Maybe,or maybe he's somebody who knows what he's talking about? It would be easy enough to find out.The thing he seemed most upset about was wasting a 5th round draft pick on a guy he says was widely assumed he was going to be released by the 49ers anyway.

He is lodging the same criticisms against the same player who is making the same mistakes as one year ago. EDIT: Nm. I'm still pissed about Sunday Ticket. Totally missed the context. |

Carrier appears to be in good position to win the backup job to Vernon Davis after putting together a strong start to training camp. The price of a trade might be steep after the 49ers awarded him a $400,000 signing bonus in the offseasson as part of an extension that pays him reasonable salaries of $585,00, $800,000 and $950,000 the next three seasons. Carrier has appeared in 16 games the past two seasons with the 49ers and has nine receptions for 105 yards

They just traded a 5th round pick to the 49ers for TE Derick Carrier who had 9 receptions last year

Re: All things Redskins training camp
The main thing I learned from that is Dan Snyder didn't make his swimming pool filled with gold coins, a la scrooge mcduck, in telecommunications...he clearly earned it being a professional pop locker on a professional dance crew. Its clear as day.
Streets are watching.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
I see that the Vegas odds makers have declared Jay Gruden to be the most likely NFL HC to be fired this season. They set the odds at 11/10 based on the deadly combination of having Dan Snyder as the owner, being forced to play RGIII, and working for a new GM with whom he had no previous ties.

Re: All things Redskins training camp
Seriously.
Mother F'er He was going to be the difference in the pass rush. It just wasn't realistic to expect Murphy or Smith to all of a sudden make a leap that big. Now it appears all we can do is hope that happens. And hope that Ian Rappoport is wrong about it being an achilles.
