Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
One thing about the Defense...we are taking away the ball
25 forced TO is 5th in the league...really solid unfortunately you have Jay Gruden and for the majority of the time Alex Smith not doing shit when given the short field. |

Our defensive front is skilled and strong, and Tomsula knows how to coach leverage. Aside from that, Manusky himself adds no value. If they shut down Tennessee and the Eagles then I'll believe they've actually turned it around. I doubt it very much. When we get embarrassed in these last two games the narrative will deservedly flip back to Gruden and Manusky needing to be canned.

I don't know if Tennessee has the weapons to embarrass us, should they beat us? Yes but they don't score a lot and really only have 1 good WR. So shutting the run game down is the big key in this one. When we have played teams with little firepower this season we typically play close. The key is JJ not turning the ball over.

Brian Mitchell is reporting(Team980.com radio show) that "Bruce Allen is heavily involved with doling out playing time".

There also reports that Colt Mccoy may be back by week 17... Yeah no thanks, I'd rather have JJ

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Monte committing assault sucks but I'm not going to cut him because of this. I'd let the NFL's conduct policy do it's thing, let him serve his suspension, and come back to us.
Unless Troy Apke suddenly makes the leap next year. LOL that's a good one. I'm more concerned about Bruce Allen dipping down into Jay Gruden's world and trying to have input into playing time. That shit reeks of desperation.
