Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Love Russel Wilsons game, he was a top 5 QB for a long time in this league but this year was an odd one. Lots of Seahawk fans and media saying he isnt seeing the field right, lost a step. Him not seeing the field was an odd on bc i thought he excelled at correctly going through progressions, hitting the right guy. Smart pocket passer with that big broken play ability. Complete package.
I am all in for Wilson and thats assuming hes on a down ward trend .. bc the notion we draft a Burrow or herbert is slim. Id rather have fun trying and dying vs another year of having a low end QB. All that high end investment in the D is really really disappointing. That 5 year approach seems to have fizzled quickly. |

The idea that we're not close... well we're certainly not getting any closer dicking around with the likes of Heinicke or someone like Jimmy G.
I think Ron knows they need to swing for the fences at QB this offseason. |

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Agree. There is so much up in the air in the NFC right now. TB will take a step back. NO is in a state of transition. GB might have the best QB in the NFC but will be losing a lot of talent. AZ is always a question mark after October. There are plenty of playoff teams that are not close. I don't see LA having two consecutive years of career year success for so many players and they are clearly top of the heap in NFC.

You cant keep saying "we are not that close" A franchise QB makes you close

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Getting a franchise QB is the only way it will get the fans back and be excited again. Especially after last weeks shit show.
I am against throwing away a bunch of draft picks but after looking at the Rams why not? They have been to two SB's and made the playoffs a couple more times w/out a 1st rounder. Drafting in the first round has a less than 50% hit rate anyway. The other piece is will Seattle trade him? Just cause Wilson says, "yeah I'd pay in DC" that doesn't mean it happens. Why would they move a franchise QB? Seattle would need multiple 1st rounders plus Chase so they could rebuild quickly. I feel we just don't have the draft capital to swing a deal to get Wilson. We'd need to be inside the top 5 and there would have to be a stud QB sitting there that they could grab. I seriously doubt anything happens w/ Wilson. This is just off season talk... |

Yep, sure they have Chase but without Burrow they would still suck

The Bengals defense was Horrible last yr.. A QB can change everything. I know it sounds desperate but its a fact

Yeah and it's not like we won't be adding anything to the defense this offseason. Who says they can't be much improved next year?

Remember when we played the Bengals in Burrow's rookie year? The only reason we won that game cause Burrow got hurt. We couldn't stop them and that was before they drafted Chase. |

So Kyler Murray on the market?
I know, very speculative, but still. This should be a fun offseason. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-social-media/
