I don't think is the high expectations, but we're seeing the same sh!t all over again. What's worst now is that our defense is stinking up the joint. I want to see Zorn go off on the team, none of this positive spin crap they did last season when they lost every single preseason game.

You dont need really high expectations to know when a team is playing like shit. Not one bright spot in this game. What do you expect us to do? Be cheerful and upbeat about this fucking pathetic performance? I dont care if its preseason. Or if the system is "vanilla". Or if it "doesnt count". Bullshit. A performance like this can have lasting psychological effects on a team.

Maybe if we weren't breaking in a new offense under a rookie head coach/playcaller then I could see the "its only preseason" excuse being legit. This is the 2nd preseason game in a row that our 1st team offense has struggled, not a good sign.

On the bright side, the NFL Cheerleader Playoffs is on and the Know Your NFL contest is coming up.

and this has zero effect on our standings come sept 4th. psychologically id hope our professional will have a short memory and not be thinking about this game 2 weeks from now with the giants. well were 3-0 in the preseason before this game, do you think the skins were thinking they were going to dominate the league after a few preseason games? no they didnt and this awful effort doesnt mean we are going to suck either.

no i dont expect you to be cheerful and upbeat but i dont expect you to be talking about how we are going to be in the top ten in the draft next year, embarrased to wear your skins jersey etc. . . . lol have a lil faith and dedication to the skins man. its a heartbreak journey to be a skins fan. . . so close to turning that corner but never quite getting there.

I just hope that I don't hear any upbeat crap from the coaching staff just like last year whenever they loss a preseason game. Last preseason the first team looked like crap, and the coaching staff were like "oh we're not opening up the playbook, blah blah blah". Well during the season, the offense played the same crappy way as they did in the preseason. I know this mean nothing in the regular season, but in the end our starters got beat 35-0 by the carolina starters.
