I don't Think Clausen strung together more than 4 words without saying "You know?", let alone a complete sentence. What was that? You know?

I missed it but, you know, I wish I hadn't. I did see Bradford on ESPN today and, you know, he sounded pretty intelligent and, you know....humble. You know?

Reminds me of Bradford's answer to the question if he'd be opposed to playing for the Redskins due to his heritage:

Quote:
Sam Bradford: "You know, obviously in Oklahoma there's a large Native American population. There are a lot of opinions on that name....but...I really don't feel like, you know, I need to be, you know, voicing my opinion. You know. If it's something I have to do down the line, you know, then I will, but I just don't feel like I need to address that issue right now."

Also I found it funny, that it was almost verbatum Q&A from this Redskins Insider article from yesterday. I mean, "you know"? I wish I had a link for the Rome interview, you know?

I want Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Jimmy Clausen, and Jason Campbell on our team. Hear me out. We use Bradford to complete the passes that require pinpoint accuracy. Tebow will help motivate the team and make sure we never lack heart. Jimmy Clausen will read defenses and get guys into position.

And Jason....will be in on plays where we know we're going to be sacked but need to pass. I kid I kid, albeit horribly.

Bradford, actually. But what a joke of an intrview, really. Your boy answered the same questions about people questioning his leadership, and his experience in a NFL style offense. It was annoying to watch Clausen stutter, you know, every other word and sentence you know. Especially already having his prepared and rehearsed answers. That's the best he could do? You know? What a joke..
But you are correct, I don't like, nor want Clausen on the Redskins. I can see how I have come across as annoying, and that was part of my intention. Watching that interview annoyed me, Clausen, annoys me. I was seeing if it was only me. Maybe, it is.

Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins

So Clausen's planning on not being in NY on draft day. I wonder if that's because he's afraid he's going to get the Brady Quinn treatment?

He probably is afraid of that. If he falls out of the top 10 he could definitely suffer a Quinn-like slide down the board.

There are tons of parallels between those two. I could see him sliding but i doubt if all stays the same that he slips past the bills at 9. Personally I want us to pick him, i think we can get linemen with the rest of our picks.

i didnt see all of claussens interview but i did hear that vinny was coaching him up for interviews. vinny is the king of ending every sentence with a "ya know". i hate that to, no i dont know b/c you suck at explaining what your trying to convey to me so when you say "you know" after an attempt to inform me .... no i dont freakin know, ya know!

Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins

"I think the biggest upside that I have, and one of the things that I have over all the quarterbacks in the draft, is I've played in a pro-style offense," Clausen said. "I know how to change protections. I know how to make alerts to get to a better play. Sometimes you call two, three plays in the huddle. You have to know whether [the defense] is in an over front, even front or if they're in an off front. I know how to call the Mike ID every single time. I just know my hot [reads] and my side adjusts. It's just a lot of different things that in different offenses, spread offenses, that you wouldn't see."

Beautiful !

The "punishment" by the league : "It's like getting a ticket for going too fast on a road a week ago and they changed the speed limit today"

That part of his game is extremely intriguing. If you can read defenses in this league you can be a top tier QB, and apparently thats Clausens strong suit. In fact I'd say that attribute makes him much more attractive then Bradford.
