I think people need to realize that there are 10 teams after Winston. Given that we can't cut J. Brown, I don't know if we will go hard after him. Also, with a running game and all of these burners at WRs, and an accurate passer, our o-line as it is may look better.

Niles Paul and Hankerson can be possession WR's and the TE's are possession guys too, so if they wanted to release him they have guys to fill that role.

You guys think Garcon can develop into a true WR1? Will he demand double coverage? I guess he's got the best years still ahead of him, but I remember him being inconsistent, dropping as many catchable balls as making outstanding catches. Thoughts?

Thats what I think will pan out by the end of the season.
If he performs like a real #1 we are going to have a hella good receiving group.

Hard to judge from one good game, right? And he did just have surgery? Usually, the third year is the breakout year for receivers too.

Drops are a problem with Garcon. Hopefully he works on his hands.

Otherwise, yes, I think Garcon can be a guy who threatens defenses like a #1 WR. And if he doesn't then Hank (who also has a problem with the dropsies) may take over that role.

Not one of those receivers has ever had 1,000yds in their career, the O-line is beyond junk, and RGIII is a rookie. I'm not hating because I'm excited to see how it pans out also, but "scary" is a vast overstatement.

I think you bring a good point...and I would like to emphasize how much of a departure from the "old ways' these signings are. All of these guys are 25-26, haven't reach their full potential. And they may end up reaching 1000+ yds as Redskins.

Yes sir. Better to catch them on the ascent than on the descent.

Besides, Garcon came close to 1,000 yards with Curtis Freakin' Painter in charge of the offense.
