Re: NFL Free Agents Signings Thread

I am hoping we get Penn too. We'd have decent bookends then.

Lol but so true. I look at our receivers and we consistently have the worst WR group in the division. I'd take Garcon over pretty much anyone but Bryant and maybe D. Jackson in the division but after that, I'd take everyone elses #2 and probably #3 receivers over what we have. Roberts can be productive but again, he's best as a #3 guy, not a #2.

Hankerson, Moss (at this point), Robinson are all bottom of the roster/#3 or #4 receivers on contending teams.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Panthers close to signing a WR we've actually heard of. Jericho Cotchery.

Antonio Cromartie added to the Cards' secondary. Pretty solid unit in AZ.

I think they'll be pretty much the same as last year since they lost a player or two (which is not a negative at all). If they continue to have the same dominance on the defense and the running game, they should be a contender without any problem.

Steve Smith of Baltimore Ravens surprises sad 7-year-old fan Gavin Simone on 'GMA' - ESPN

While this was an incredible gesture on Steve Smiths part I can't help but invoke a quote from one of my favorite childhood movies; Angels in the Outfield.

If I'm Cleveland that's one I'm glad to have missed out on.
