Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?
The Fox crew was talking about it today, the jist of it was Gruden will probably be the scapegoat but he's not the problem, the problem is Allen. According to them Snyder believes we had a great draft this year and since we have plenty of talent the problem is Gruden.
I swear to Christ if that is anything close to accurate and Bruce somehow keeps his job... |

Bruce is basically Snyders 3rd arm. He isn't going anywhere.
Its getting to the point where I'm actively going to root against the team. Snyder and Bruce don't deserve anything but being the bottom feeders they are.

Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?
When I hear this announcing crew sweet talking Ryan Connelly it makes me ponder how he got into that position vs. our own Cole Holcomb.
We did a fantastic job of sweet talking Holcomb this offseason, but he's been beaten like a red-headed stepchild all season. Whereas Connelly stepped in as a backup this week and had a fantastic game up to when he got injured. Both are late round rookie middle linebackers, but Connelly was playing fantastic and Holcomb has been the opposite. So what's the difference? Coaching is the first thing that comes to mind. It's another strike against Manusky and Gruden for hiring Manusky. |

I’m sure it will. My point was, Haskins won’t fix anything and Keenum isn’t the problem. The problems with this team run many, very deep, and go back 20 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Haskins had no reps this season. He was started in the middle of a game. No one, including myself, said he was going to light the team on fire. To give him the best chance to succeed: 1. Replace Gruden & Manusky 2. Give Haskins all the reps in full preparation for the Patriots. 3. Bring McLaurin and Scherff back. Then we’ll see Haskins get some experience and have some good and bad moments. Other teams have played their QB in their rookie season. Like the Giants today or the Eagles with Wentz a few seasons ago. In fact, it time for the new HC to try all all the young and rookie players, especially in positions where we know the FA veteran is leaving next season. We need to see who has a future on this franchise and who doesn’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting read about Haskins debut. I put it in this thread because of the heavy discussion of Jay Gruden and the perception of him and his offense. Some of us may disagree with the analysis |

Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?
Jay is not getting fired because he is Snyders whipping boy much like Garret is Jerruhhs.
Owners like Dan and Jerry are making roster and possibly game plan decisions to some degree. |
