Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Even if you have a good defense without a QB it is irrelevant. The Bears had a great D in the aughts went to a Super Bowl with Grossman but were constantly in a struggle to make the playoffs. Same with Denver. A good D gets you to a place where some years you'll win 10 some years you'll lose 10. Nothing special.

You know I thought the same thing so i looked at his numbers. He missed 3 games and was a little off when he came back but 65 % completion percentage, 7.8 yards per throw, 25 td’s and 6 picks? Shit if that is an off season ill sign up right now. |

It isn’t like the choice is A ) get a franchise quarterback B) address the defense and roll with TH We can get a franchise quarterback and still upgrade our D thru the draft and or FA. We get a safety and some linebacker help and our D will be vastly improved. Don’t have to be all pro’s either just above average guys. Our D was improving last year, but we also were missing Sweat and CY for huge amounts of time. Im counting on CY coming back strong, getting some new blood, and maybe Davis taking a step forward in year two. We have continuity in the coaching ranks which should help also. We get Russ, and we are a contender even with last years team. But we also will be getting some new blood thru picks and FA. Don’t underestimate what a franchise quarterback can do for a team though. We see it all the time, it is just never us. |

If you make the playoffs, you're close. We have Wilson next year we're winning 10ish games. That's close. I don't even like him (something about him just annoys me) or watching him play (runs around too much behind the LOS for my liking), and I still would absolutely love for him to be our QB next year. He is fucking good. What we have is not even average.

He is better than good SD. He is absolutely elite. Has probably 4-5 years left of great if healthy. I think he keeps plays alive running behind the line of scrimmage. He literally does it all. Runs, accurate, strong arm, smart. Don’t let this season fool you. |

In the NFC right now, who would you take over RW?
Dak? NO Stafford? Maybe but probably not Jimmy? No chance Hurts? No chance in hell Daniel Jones? Lol Cousins? No Murray? No The only one would be ARod. That’s a big maybe

Once he finally got healthy they scored like 90 points their last two games. They're going to trade that for some picks and Daron Payne? 😅 The reality is good ole' Trubumski, a highly drafted player and Taylor. No way would Jimmy G come here cause Kyle would tell him what a loser Dan is. |
