I was speaking with tongue slightly in cheek. I'm never sure what people find interesting. I love this sort of historical stuff as I think TAFKAS does. Others seem to prefer discussing pie. I'm all about League History, Playcalling, and Announcer-Hating.

Also, I definitely think there is a teriffic book in all these relationships. My experience has been that when I have an idea that I think would make a good book, the book comes out about 6 months later. (The original concept for "Bridges of Madison County" was mine, man!)

I know he's more known now for being an owner, but Al Davis should figure pretty prominently. I think he was an assistant under Sid Gillman, and Madden and Walsh were both assistants under him.
