I'd want him on the skins 100/100 times. Everyone has a bad day though.

Troy constantly gets abused in coverage. One of my roommates was a big Pitt. fan (came from the area) and he'd be beat deep consistantly. He's a Roy Williams type, he'll do great against the run, and he'll knock some people out, but get him in coverage and RUH ROH.

Maybe TP caught LaVar-itis.

Re: Troy Palomalu

Big mouth Joey Porter was a no-show as well. Hat's off too Holmgren for a great Offensive game plan. Stephens and the refs conspired to give the game to Pitt. This will be a thorn in Seattles collective side all off-season. I wish they had gotten legitimatley wooped or else blown Pitt out. Now they have motivation for next year and I don't like the idea of going to Washington State again for the playoffs.

I think Seasquaks will be mediocre next year, mostly cause of easy division. You make SB appereance and coordinators look at YOUR films half the offseason. NFC east will deff have homefield next yr.

Give the guy some credit. The guy is a ballhawk, makes plays that can change a game, hits hard while only being 5'10 210lbs. Maybe we can give the Seahawks some credit here and say that they gameplanned him very well and did a good job of running plays away from him.

Just because he's soft spoken doesn't make him gay or feminine.......he's just a humble guy and I have alot of respect for him.

Just my opinion.
Yep. Polamalu is the best safety in the game right now IMO. Like you said he's always around the ball. I'll be elated if Taylor gets to the level of consisitency that Polamalu has.

consistancy ? before the game , john madden talked of polamalu's inconsistancy, madden pionted out that his inconsistant play could be a key factor in the game.

Are we supposed to take anything out of Madden's mouth with the slightest bit of seriousness anymore?

absolutely, he's a hall of famer. seriously though, he was giving his "keys to the game" when he pointed out polamalu's inconsistancies. he specifically said that polamalu would tend to get beat sometimes on pass plays because he is a very aggressive player. he said he was better against the run than the pass.

All I know is everytime they showed highlights of a Pittsburgh game it seemed that Polamalu was either making a pick or recovering a fumble. He's a baller to say the least. Madden might say he's inconsistent, but he also bills a different player as the best in the NFL every Monday night.

yea, i'm not disagreeing with you when you say he is a very good player, i was just pointing out that while he is very good , he is somewhat inconsistant in the passing game. he will only get better though and will prolly end up being a constant probowler.

Fair enough. I think we both can agree that he is a damn good player.

Oh boy here we go. I like Taylor the football player, but beloved he's not. I have had a problem with him since he snubbed our beloved head coach back in the summer. I'm sure I'll get over it.
