we as fan might not like it but I understand his point of view imagine he plays and agrevates the injury maybe to the point that he has to sit the next year or at least 8 month... no franchise tag, no signing bonus no nothing I'm sorry but it's his carrier if it ends early they don't have anything else going.... it's like the center of minesota this year Brith i think his name is he had an hernia needed surgery he said he would play hurth if the team warrenty his salary for the 2006 season the team didn't want 2 do that so he went to IR is passion but it also bussines they don't want to take risk if it going to mean no salary next year. Quote:
It just buys the team more time to make it happend and not lose him in FA and get nothing for him but it's true he wants big time money, money you don't have so I don't see it happening and I also believe losing ramsey is way better than losing LA. ANd with the CBA not sign yet you can only spred a singing bonus for 4 years that hurths the chances of a long term big contract |

Re: A prediction after reading some news
i wouldn't trade lavar AND ramsey for that junxt . Now if we are talking draft picks i am all ears.
What could the skins sell ramsey and arrington together and seperately for in terms of draft picks? |

There's no way you'd ever find a team that would take both Ramsey and Arrington at the same time. The NFL just doesn't work like that.

Re: A prediction after reading some news
I would trade Ramsey then but not arrington. NOT ARRINGTON!!! so we aren't ever gonna be able to package them together? What about a superduper trade. Our 3rd, ramsey, and arrington for their first and abraham. as you can see i suck at trade talk but put up a scenerio and i will say if i like it or not and abraham for arrington is no good for me.

My link... it not saying anything but that its exspected that Jets will franchise him. But I could see this situation turning out like this because A: It was rumored on ESPN that there was going to be a trade Ramsey for Abraham earlier in the season. B: The deal could happen, it would be like the Champ for Portis deal. Numbers can always be worked out to fit under the cap. C: Why would the jets do it?~ To get something for a person they would otherwise just lose for nothing in the offseason.

Re: A prediction after reading some news
JA is too expensive for our current situation. DE is a second need to WR, and while WR #2 and our draft picks wont cost much, a long term deal for JA would mean cutting people next year when his number explodes or this year. He's not a great charcter guy and he's not even a good character guy. He whines to the media, and gibbs HATES that.

Re: A prediction after reading some news
I gotta disagree, I think that DE should be the #1 priority. I think Patten will be fine if he and Brunell get together and develop some chemistry. I think depth at WR is the issue. I think this team needs a new starter at RE and we should move Daniels to LE. Wynn just isn't a very good football player, I think he's a great guy and he like his versatility, I just don't think he's a starter in these league.
If the Skins had a legit threat at DE the D would be insane. I think the offense should be concerned with getting more #3 and #4 wide receiver types. Possibly, a big, possession receiver, if they come cheap, but IMO DE is a far greater concern. |
