Re: fastest man

i just watched the whole show. Moss wasn't in any of the competitions. That really sucked because he was the only reason i wanted to watch it. I would've thought maybe Samuels would do strongest man. Oh well.

It was a photo finish between Deangelo and mathis and Deangelo edged him.

Re: fastest man

Hall is Hookie...got to give him some love for winning even though he is one cocky SOB. It's interesting that Vick was on the sideline cheering him on rather than smoking them all on the track.

Oh and Larry Allen did 43 bench press reps with 225 lb stack. He is as old as dirt but the man is just Nasty! He brutalized and demoralized the whole field off the bat.

Re: fastest man

Allen Rossum won last year.

Hall won this year barely beating out mathis, mathis had a bad start but clearly was faster once at top speed. Bob sanders was really fast too.

Moorman is a punter, he was also in the Open Field challenge. He said he wanted to enter the kicking contest but it was only between FG kickers so he entered everything else with an open spot. FYI, he beat steve smith... so he can move.

Why the hate? well, the first game this year was against the eagles and he matched up against owens who caught 7 for 120. he did an ok job, but after the game in an interview, he said he dominated owens all game and they were scared to throw his way(they threw at him 20 times!!!).
FYI, i liked him coming out of V.tech. he really is a decent corner. but i hate the fact that he is manufacturing hype(name recognition) for himself.
he seems like a jerk.

but then again, if art monk belittled every DB he ever faced, he would be in the hall of fame. unfortunately that kind of crap gets you noticed...

Re: fastest man

I know I've watched these fastest man competitions before, but I was reminded again today of how worthless they are. The field is extremely limited and they don't even post the 40 times. If they told us that D. Hall ran a 4.23 on grass and was crowned the fastest man that might make it kind of cool, but as it is it is just 7 guys and a punter running two heats. If it were really the fastest man we'd have timers, Santana, Vick, and a whole bunch of others would run. But I guess no one is really at the Pro Bowl to do much competing and someone would probably get hurt. Just didn't seem like much of a show to me.

Actually, I heard that Keyshawn, Fairy Glenn and Patrick Crayton all tied. They lined them up and Sean Taylor was behind them. At the end of the race they threw a ball at each one and they all alligator armed it.

moorman came in third BEHIND smith and hall, or else moorman would have moved on to the final heat instead of smith. He beat david tyree of the giants i think .
