Predict our first major player acquisition

hmm what about a receiver? wouldnt that be a good choice. hmm come to think of it is ole sticky fingers 50/50 Gardner still out there? or is he still with the packers?

I like Akin Ayodele....Can play strongside or weakside LB and is very fast can line up as a DE. Was second in 03 and 04 in tackles and was jacksonville man of the year nominee in 03. He would allow Marshall to stay in the middle[MLB] and leave Washington SLB and Ayodele to weak! I think he fit in great in a GW Defense! I don't know if this would be a first move but it would be a good one!

I was about to post the same thing. I like him too. Though I think we might be able to wait a bit. See what the market is for guys like Peterson and Witherspoon...and LaVar...first

i went with archuleta, solely because we havent re-signed ryan clark yet, and we are expected to cut bowen, so that leaves a huge hole at SS. archuleta would fill that. shortly after i think we will add some OLB depth

I voted other I think that we may go after A. Bryant or K. Robinson. Which both would not bother me at all, then maybe we go after a DE or someone for help in our secondary. We may go after Giviens too, either way I dont see us going after and really "big" name player unless Gibbs and or GW thinks that the player will fit with the team...

I think they go after Peterson to replace Arrington somewhat strongly or maybe that's who I'm just hoping they go after strongly, but it could also easily be either Bruce, Givens, or Abraham or the sleeper of Hutchinson if I haven't missed something about him being resigned by Seattle.

Peterson has been ok out here for the 49ers but never reached that top LB and the money will be high. I think Akin Ayodele would cost less and get better player!

he just seems to me to be the smart, speedy multi-dimensional olb that Williams could do some things w/while teamed up with Marshall and Washington.

Here is my wish list and not in any order

LB-Akin Ayodele

WR- Randel-El [to much money]....Antonio Bryant [Gibbs makes him a star and he gets payback to Cowboys]

CB-Ahmed Plummer

G-Tonin Fonoti

OT-Tom Ashworth

DE-Aaron Kampman

S-Chris Hope

These would be great Redskins and all are good guys with the exception of Bryant but I think he has grown up after only four years in the NFL. I think Gibbs could make this guy a star! Yes I know we can get them all but here are some players that will make us great!!!

you are smoking something if you want zach mills here?forget about signing archeluta,just resign clark.i would prefer picking up abrahams as the skins one and only big signing.lets keep our cap house in order to avoid future cap diaster
