Re: What's the pick? LB? TE? CB?..... WR????
Dont think there is really a glaring need that the skins must fill, but we sure had a few big runs against the defense last year at key times(ladainian tomlinson for a TD in OT. 2nd round pick DT Claude Wroten.....5th round pick Derrick Martin cb. 6thrnd Best OT avaliable and ,,,The hits just keep on coming

Thats funny, I actually ran into the Easter Bunny and he said we would go for the 'Best Player Available' Do you think that in your dream where you met Joe Gibbs and Vinny Cerato you might have mistaken CB for QB? Seems more plausible.

The Redskins are in a wonderful position of not having a must pick. They could add depth at LB, CB, OL, DL or S. Basically, let the draft play out and take the best player available.

Wow. I ran into John Kerry and he said we'll draft a tight-end after we don't draft a tight-end.
Lots of stories out there. |

He told me we could draft a Tight End who wasn't a TE and trade the pick for something, then he said something about changing his mind and sticking to his guns at which point he started mumbling.

Re: What's the pick? LB? TE? CB?..... WR????
I really think they'll take the best player available at LB, CB, DL, OL or TE.
As a Notre Dame fan I have to say Anthony Fasano would look very nice in a Redskins uniform and be a huge help to both our passing and running games. This kid is a huge target, can block(both run and pass) and catches everything...he's not exactly fast but he gets down field quite well and he has trampled over many a DB in his college days. He also played for Wies which means he is ready to contribute to an NFL Offense now. If there's not a better LB or DB available I would be happy with Fasano. He reminds me of Bavaro. DB's duck when they see him coming at full speed. If the right LB or DB isn't available this kid would be a nice consilation. I'd love to see the DB's running for cover when you send Fasano AND Cooley over the middle on a crossing pattern. ouch. |
