I, being a Redskins fan for 20 years now, have disliked Irvin for as long as I can remember. When he joined ESPN I watched just to argue with the TV and get mad at him. But as the season moved along, I started to realize something. He knows his stuff. He isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but you can tell he worked hard at it and is wanting to be a great analyst. If you remember back, when Sharpe first started he wasn't all that great either, but he's turned out to be an okay analyst. I almost hate to say it, but I think Irvin will be a successful analyst in a few years.
