Re: Big Ben was close to death
Maybe if driving w/o a helmet is optional in PA,maybe Cool Ben will stick to his principles and plead for a clause so he can QB w/o a helmet at home games.

Re: Big Ben was close to death
Wow...i really wish he died...thats horrible and all but he is quite unworthy of his talent and life....seconds from death...recovers...then and after he yells at the media for saying it was probably not the best idea to ride without a helmet....nice....

No dude, dont wish death on anybody. The only difference between him and you is that you look through your pair of eyes, we all are one. I rant hard but have a heart he's got a mom family like everyone else.

Re: Big Ben was close to death
He said he was sorry to Cowher and to his family. Let's stop with this nonsense that he's not taking the blame or not remorseful for what happened. The guy is lucky to be alive, I'm sure he's well aware of how much he screwed up.

Re: Big Ben was close to death
I wonder if he'll play with a "devil may care" attitude now or will he reflect on his own mortality and take a more cautious approach. The latter will affect his pocket passing ability.

Re: Big Ben was close to death
Jim Rome was talking about the interview alot today and he said he felt that Ben still had that swagger and almost had a chip on his shoulder that he wants to prove that he can come back stronger than ever.

Re: Big Ben was close to death
I'm just now starting to let the Jim Everett incident go. I can usually listen to an entire broadcast w/o thinking of him getting "knocked the f*ck out". Some of his opinions coincide with my own about sports athletes and their behavior.
