Umm...Portis wasn't a free agent either, was he? Maybe Barrow or Washington would work.

Also, I don't suppose there is a scheme to reward quality instead of just quantity, is there? Or maybe points for being an active member over a long period of time. I really like this site, read it often, and expect to do so for years to come, but it'll take me years to write as many as 1000 posts. :p

Maybe to continue with the special teams trend we should put a pic of free agent pickup Tom Tupa. On another note, is Tom Tupa our 4th string/emergency QB above Rod Gardner now? Tupa has actually started some games at QB hasn't he?

Maybe you should replace the "Free Agent" avatar with "Impact Player". That way, you can use any of the top players' pics in there.

I think everyone would find it peachy keen to get their own Dave Butz avatar.

Just an opinion from some random dude, that's all.

As I ponder...

As I ponder my 1/2" vertical leap, (don't laugh, I've only lost 1/2" in 52 years, I wonder how I will ever touch the bar, much less get over it!

During special teams drills, both offensive (white jerseys) and defensive (burgundy jerseys) players are playing on the same side of the ball, so they need the blue caps on their helmets to distinguish who's on the kick team and who's on the return team.

That's one of those obscure facts that you can only find here on the warpath
