Samuels did a good job in both games against speed rushers, aside from a false start. If brunell got rid of the ball Ware doesn't get that coverage sack. A couple other sacks were coverage sacks IMO, not sure who got beat.

This game is definitely a big break for the Skins. They need to wake the hell up in this one, because it sure doesn't get easy after this.

You got me. I just pulled that out of thin air...

I guess you didn't watch sportscenter during the pre-season.

I think that'll be the score, but the Skins come out on top.

Re: Just What The Doctor Ordered?

I have a hard time believing the Skins will put 31 points on the board against any team. It'll probably take them another 3 games to get that point total.

Still, I predict the Skins will pull out an ugly, field goal-filled win. But then, I had the same prediction about the Viking game.

Re: Just What The Doctor Ordered?

I'm thinking something along the lines of last year's Redskisn/49er's game. We'll put up about fiddy, maybe fiddy-two points.

Re: Just What The Doctor Ordered?

Hopefully Brunell can finally break out of his shell on this one. I think he's still flustered by the new offensive scheme. He may just continue to be this way for the first half of the season.

Re: Just What The Doctor Ordered?

I have seen a lot of both Texans games so far and they are playing much better thant he Redskins right now. Their offense has moved the ball pretty well. When Carr gets time he is on the money. He will shred the skins if they don't get after him. I am terrified of this game...the skins are not playing well enough to beat anyone right now.

I'm not sure it's the offensive linemen that have shut down Williams so far. He only has 5 total tackles (only 4 solo) in 2 games. I think HE is his problem.

I'm not worried about him.

I hope so. Then I can start a "HAIL BRUNELL" thread and the other one can DIE.
