Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
I don't believe they make it to playoff. Have feeling Brunell get hurt and Collins fill in badly for him. Campbell on bench too long if Gibbs behave like before. And if Brunnell not hurt, how much longer he last at his age and pounding he take. Mr. Al Saunders was a bad hire and knock them out of their successful winning rythm from last year.

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
If we win convincingly this weekend and at least give Jacksonville a run for their money, I'll feel a little better.

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
They had a stat on SC that 11 or 17 percent of teams that go 0-2 make the playoffs.

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
I'm saying yes because I did not jump on a bandwagon, nor will I jump off as a result of this...............diversion. It's part of being a fanatic. A couple of teams may have drawn first blood, but it is a long fight. God knows we will "fight our guts out". I have complete confidence in Joe and co. to right the ship............fast. Who better to get well on than the Texan's????????
Note: If we lose to the Texan's, this post will self destruct if five...four....

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
yeah 0-3 is 3 games under .500 and 5-6 is 1 game. 0-3, while giving more time to catch up, is worse than 5-6. that being said, hopefully we'll get back on track @ houston. one win will hopefully get 'em sparked.

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
I think it's impossible to make any meaningful predictions two games into the season.
But I don't like our chances at this point. Eagles Giants and Cowboys are all light years ahead of us right now.

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
I really believe it's to early to tell, last year I got you pencil out after you wen 5 - 6 but we all know what happend in the end.
OK this year schedulle it's harder than last years you have games against Jax, Dal, NYG (2), Phi(2) Ind, Atl, and let's not totally discard TB and Car as tough oponents. Last year your games came against Chi, Dal (2), NYG, Phi (2), Stl, Sea, SF, Ari..... of all this only Sea,NYG and CHi were playoffs teams PHi,SF and Ari where bottom of the pit and none where against AFC teams. This year you face a different Phi not last year PHi so like I said you have 10 more tough games and 4 must wins in Hou and Ten, NO and Stl a 10 -6 record I believe is a must to get in the playoffs and maybe it will be short. so that means you need to win 6 out of those 10 tough matches and all of the "easy" ones It all depends in if your team clicks, the players are there and the coaching staff is there we will know better after week 5 if your 1 -4 I say no way. |

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
vs vikings - L
@ cowboys - L @texans - W vs jags - L @ giants - L vs titans - W @ colts - L vs cowboys -W @ eagles - W @ bucs - W vs panthers - W vs falcons - w vs eagles - W @ saints - W @ rams - W vs giants - W YES!!!!! YES YES YES! Last year we had both a 2 game and a 3 game losing streak!! Granted we had to win the last 5 games to make the playoffs. Our sched is set up in a way that makes that more than possible again this year!! I predict the offense getting on track this weekend and gaining a level of confidence. After this week we will play 2 hard intense games that could go either way. If the offense is playing to its complete potential we could pull off wins!! But to be safe i will call them both losses. The rest of the games -the colts should all be victories. But again even the Colts game could go our way if our offense is really there, as well as any other random game marked as a W. So there is room for error.(11-5 or 10-6.) With Springs back look for a usual blitz happy GW defense that holds opponents down. These last 2 games , as hard as they are to accept, are not the end of our season. Plenty of football left!! With our injured players returning i believe our skins will kick some ass!!!

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
Well im glad you show confidence in your team Southpaw...but allow me to clarify a bit what i said.... As i previously stated...i said either one of the giants or jags or colts could just as easily be a W as an L Also.. any of the W's after week 7 could be losses as well....so with the margin for error lets say +2L but +1 W (colts jags or @giants) thats 10-6...i apologize for the confusion!!

Re: Playoffs: Yes or No?
If the skins keep playing like they have in weeks 1 & 2 then there's no way. As it stands they only have a 14% change of making the playoffs.
That said I think its gonna be close and in they end they will just miss out. |
