Re: King picks Texans

They have really speedy receivers and a pretty good QB...deffinately not a game to overlook.....But, if we play to our potential we have it!!!! Look for alot of gained confidence this week, which will lead to a victory next week vs. the Jags :-) (I HOPE!)

Re: King picks Texans

The Texans have the worst Pass Defense in the league. Andre Johnson is the only receiving threat they have. and they have no rush offense. Carr has been sacked 217 times in 60+ starts.

However, that's why they don't play these games on paper, but inside our television sets.

I could see Houston winning but not by 2 TDs. I think Portis sets the tone and Brunell finally figures out how to throw deeper than 10 yards.

Re: King picks Texans

Take the teams and the PK aspect out of this.

If you break the game down:

Team A is at home. QB has the #2 QB rating. TD/INT is 4/0. Scoring offense is 17.0 PPG.

Team B is on the road. QB has the #25 QB rating. TD/INT is 0/1. Scoring offense is 13.0 PPG.

Defensively, Team B has the edge. However, it is pretty clear that Team B just isn't able to move the ball or score.

Is it really crazy to pick Team A -- especially since they are laying 4?

That said, I expect the Skins to somehow win. I fear what this place will look like if they don't.

Surprise Supise King picks against the Skins. I'm stunned!
News flash. The Wight brothers took to the air near Kitty Hawk, N.C., the first controlled, sustained flights in a power-driven airplane

Re: King picks Texans

no surprise there, PK & other analysts want to make a seemingly bold prediction, hence the 2 tds. If not for the 2 tds, it would be an avg. pick.
What I wonder is, did these guys watch the Minn. game? Yeah we had our problrms, but it was competitive. Seems like the dallas game is getting blown out of proportion, though we did suck!

Good. It's bulletin board material. I get worried when King picks us to WIN.
