That is hilarious. Shit, I'd buy your jersey if you'd sign it for me.

HAHAHAH. You guys crack me up.

Sometimes I put on a helmet during practice and run the ball if they aren't tackling well.

HAHA! This reminds me of the Joe Namath commercials a while back where he's thinking about "getting his old job back". So he gets these kids together to play and lights them up with passes.

Did you ever see the Namath commercial a few years back where he's in a sports store looking for a Jets jersey? The Jets really blew around that time and the clerk was giving him dirty looks for wanting the jersey and Namath was trying to tell him how great they were. Finally he goes, "we beat the Colts (it was back when they were the worst team in the league)," and the clerk just shakes his head.
Did you see it? Huh? Did you? Huh?

Sorry, back on topic, TMC you need to institute a flea-flicker into your playbook...or else!

Re: My Little League Football Team Victory

We also are working on a halfback pass. All our RBs are former QBs.

Re: My Little League Football Team Victory

Because all my starting RBs are in 8th grade, and since we can only have ONE QB, that's the reason.

Hey Malcolm, how did their coach react when he realized he lost?

Dude, you should have seen this guy. He was wearing a Roy Williams jersey. It looked like I just killed his dog. I would have HATED to have to come shake hands with us. We were just post-Gatorade bath and happy as hell.

Some of the kids I coach don't even know the rules of football and we have to put the fat kids on the front of kickoff return because they aren't allowed to run the ball. So they kick it onside to this fat kid who just STARES at the ball, they hop on it...
That's a hilarious play-by-play.

Too bad you can't have a Fridge Perry halfback. That rule is crap. How are the fat kids supposed to lose weight if they're not allowed to run?

Can the kids run WR reverses? I'd imagine that would work very well against defenses of that age group.

Counter trey! YEAH!

A parent is actually going to let me borrow the video. I'll put up some clips ASAP.
