Re: Ryan Clark playing well
harris and clark should have stayed. stoutmire too, but we've already beaten that to death :/.
btw, anyone else notice that rogers dropped his third easy int of the season today? he should seriously get his eyes checked, it's become a habit (dating back to last year). |

Re: Ryan Clark playing well
Why didn't we draft a CB this year? Is it a possibility we'll trade for a CB before the deadline? Springs isn't to be relied on.

I wanted sit pat and draft charles spencer (LG - was the starting texan's LT till injury), or richard marshall (CB panthers - already a solid #3 with 26 tackles, 1 int, 1 fumble recovery, 1 td) who were available at our original (late 2nd) spot. I mean, i wasn't the only one looking at CBs either, and it's not like it was an unknown need. We knew springs was an injury risk the second he signed (and we got a great deal and amazing play for the better part of two seasons so far). Instead we've got a high 2nd rounder that's mainly playing on special teams. whatever, the ratings of all 3 players could be drastically different a year from now. it's just seeing our struggles and how they may have been prevented with more foresight is frustrating. |

Re: Ryan Clark playing well
I think I mentioned a while back (at the risk of sounding stupid) that Ryan Clark was my favorite player on our team. Then a number of Ryan Clark fans (myself included) got bad-mouthed for wanting him over Archuleta. I suggested that Archuleta was not a significant upgrade and people tried to feed me stats (which didn't say a lot). I would now go so far as to say that Archuleta has been a downgrade from Clark at strong safety, and certainly far more expensive.
