if both remain healthy I think between the 2 corners, springs has the best chance for a real breakout year and a trip to the pro bowl. i think both have the chance for stellar years but a big part of me wants it too be springs cuz of the money we gave for a guy with a questionable health record, i'd like him to prove the critics wrong. plus we know atleast he's gonna be with the team for the next few years whereas smoot might look for #1 cornerback money even though he's not really at that level right now but might achieve it this season.

I think the Oline will get a lot of recognition this year (Samuels, Thomas, Raymer, etc) with Portis back there and JG calling the plays.
I forgot about John Hall.
Isn't it great to have a real kicker so you don't have to worry about that spot!

Who will make the Pro Bowl for the Redskins this season?

I predict: Portis, Coles, Jansen, Arrington, Washington, and Smoot

Pro Bowl Prediction
1 LaVar Arrington- His name is too recognizable for ppl not to vote him in
2 Michael Barrow- Led the NFC in tackles last 2 years, has very good chance to finally be recognized
3 C. Port.- Another 1500 yard season
4 Randy Thomas- Jansen would go, but no one knows who he is
5 Lavernaues Coles- 1500 recieving yards

Sleeper- Rod Gardner- Will finally live up to his potential with a more spread out offense

Im going to add whoever starts at QB for us. I can only imagine with all our receivers, Cooley, and Portis that the QB will put up career numbers this year. I expect Portis to also have a ton of receptions, mainly from early in the year while all the blockign patterns are still getting worked out.

Portis, Hall, Coles, Arrington, Smoot! and Jansen. With Jansen more than likely now covering the blindside, he should get far more recognition as the elite left tackles do now covering right handed QBs.

Sleepers: Washington, Taylor, Springs, and of course Jimoh.

GO ADE!!

I think we could hit the special teams trifecta: Hall, Morton, Tupa

special teams trifecta... wow, that would be a new twist to skins football. Last year we got the talent we need, along with Tupa this year. Now as long as we get the blockign set up then we're in business. I hope Hall goes because he breaks the record for extra points in a season, because that would mean plenty of touchdowns from our highpowered offense.

I think the closest we came to a special teams trifecta was in 82. Mike Nelms (never met a fair catch he would ever call!) was in the Probowl for the third year in a row and Moseley was the NFL MVP (first and only kicker ever).

Believe it or not, Mitchell has only been to one Pro Bowl, in 1995. Last time Roby was in was 1994 with the Skins, but was in two others as a Dolphin.

Have we had a good punter since Roby? or is Tupa the first.

well, we did have a good strech of years where punting was a big part of the game plan...hopefully Tupa will spend more time as 3rd string QB then punting this year.
