Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
I don't want to hear negativity from any player publicly...it does not do any good. If he has a problem then take it up in the locker room. They may not be winning right now but they need to stick together...Maybe Lloyd was allowed to lip off in San Fran but that doesn't happen here.

Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
He wasn't allowed to and that's one of the reasons he got traded. Nolan has more power as a HC than almost any other in the league and he really doesn't take much shit from his players.

Lloyd may develop into a very good receiver, and I think he's proving himself more and more each week. This little outburst shouldn't bother anyone and I think the general vibe is that it's more reflective of his passion as a football player, and less of his lack of self control. Santana Moss on the other hand needs to not retaliate... Be the bigger guy, suck it up... draw the penalty, and then walk of the field with a win. Don't fight back, cause you'll always get caught. You will hardly hear a complaint about Santana from anyone, but obviously we'd rather have the yards and some points vs. the last word/hit.

Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
BTW, for anyone who cares, when I used the word "hissyfit" in the thread title I did not mean to imply that Lloyd was acting like T.O. or some punk. I simply did not know what to call "the incident" as I had no idea what it was all about.

Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
I remember thinking several times the last few weeks that I wish lloyd would make a little stir about not getting the ball. He seems to catch almost every one of the very few balls they throw to him. This is the main reason I want Campbell in, Lloyd and ARE can play, but they need to get the ball.
They should be taking two deep shots per game to Lloyd minimum just to loosen he defense!

Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
Amen. why don't we jump on lloyd just like we did Patten last year and while we are at it just fire all the recievers why would they get mad it is all there fault for getting open and not getting the ball. Every receiver on this team should throw a fissy, but because they are a team they are not going to throw the weak link under the bus, Brunell. Stop trying to look for us a # 2 receiver we have them we just can't get them the damn ball.

Re: Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit
Remember Gary Clark's tirades? I'd rather see hissyfit's than laughing on the sideline during a game like this. Too many laughs over the last 15 years. We need more players getting emotional after losses.

This is a football team not a bible study group...Fucking snap out of this bullshit "everything will come together because we are good people"...I don't give a shit if the whole team was a bunch of coke-heads like ol' Dex was. I just want to see some heart and soul and all I see is tired, cliched bullshit from Gibbs, and lame, lackluster, inconsistency week in, week out. I don't know how much longer I can take this |
